the options are limited with many ladies of their age seemingly
from another world and younger ladies mainly marrying within their
age group.
You may have tried the singles bars and clubs and pubs and have
been disillusioned by the money and effort involved and, most often,
lack of results.

Why Do So Many Thai Ladies Marry
Men from Outside Thailand?
The main reason is that there are many more women and a shortage
of eligible males.
There is also an overall bias towards men in Thailand in the workplace
and elsewhere. Thai ladies see friends in happy marriages with men
from other countries and want to follow suit.
In the East in general many men do not want a long stable relationship.
Because of this ladies are apprehensive about the future in this
part of the world and look to find relationships elsewhere.
They see a marriage to a sometimes older more stable foreigner
as an ideal match and will give as much and more to the union as
the man gives to them.
Do
your Members Want to Live Abroad?
Most are flexible and would settle down comfortably in Thailand
or abroad. There are few countries in the World that does not have
a stable Asian immigrant population.
The Thai ladies are now becoming part of that natural migration
and adjust well to the challenges of living abroad. Most countries
have Thai festivals and the like so that people may meet.
Culturally they mix well with all nationalities because of their
charm and sunny personalities.
They also will settle down with a Husband in Thailand. Most men
do settle comfortably in Thailand although the restrictions against
ownership rile some people.
What is the Difference between your Club and Agencies in My own
Country?
When using an agency based in your own country you will be in the
hands of a local Agency when you arrive in Thailand. The Agency
will be owned by a Thai National as foreigners or Thai ladies married
to a Foreigner cannot have majority ownership of a company .
If you are confident in making your own raveling arrangements
you do not have to pay that high up front cost and we offer a full
introduction service equivalent or better to any other Introduction
and Dating service.
Once here we
can arrange good Hotels and flights at reasonable prices for you
and your Bride and tours around Thailand if you wish.
Where do your Members Come From?
These ladies are from most walks of life from Housekeeper to Teacher
and Managers. Their ages vary from 20 - 50 with the great majority
around thirty years of age.
As the largest Introduction Club in Thailand and having run for
many years most members join by word of mouth. With many articles
and television programs covering my club I do follow up by advertising.
All members are interviewed on joining. Members from outside the
Bangkok area who are recommended by existing members may initially
join by post. They are then interviewed at the first opportunity
when they come down to the office. As all meetings are held in this
office we always meet all members face to face.
In these meetings and from my many years of experience I can immediately
see if a lady is not as she states. This is from body language,
language and slang and answers to questions. All Thai's can spot
if someone is not as they seem.
Many members are graduates and many are employed in good jobs
or running their own business.
Contrary to
the rather raunchy image spread by the media about Bangkok the vast
majority of Thai women lead normal lives. Anyone who has lived in
Thailand will see the many attractive, slim ladies working at mundane
jobs in the food industry, markets or even repairing roads and on
building sites.
What are the requirements for Marriage to a Thai Lady?
The following are a generalized list of the requirements and we
would advise members on any additional documents and country requirements.
All the above at some point will have to be verifiable with the
appropriate documentation to embassy officials during the interview
for an entry visa for your new or prospective bride.
It will be
up to you to provide the burden of proof that you can fully support
her, and that she will not fall back onto the state for public funds.
What
About Sinsod (Dowry) and Thong Mun?
This is the custom of paying dowry to the parents of the Bride
and giving Gifts to the Bride.
The payment of Sinsod(Dowry) is no longer a must for every lady
you meet and we must say that this has never been a problem with
any of our members.
The giving of Gold to the Bride replaces the engagement ring in
the Western World and this should be taken as a natural part of
the Courtship.
The Dowry to the Brides parents is traditionally seen as replacing
her worth to the family when you take her away.
Again in many cases this is not a must nowadays as many Thai's
become westernized.
If a dowry is requested the amount depends very much on the family
of the Bride and whether they are rich or poor and whether the Girl
is well educated or not.
As a company we do not get involved in the handling of the Sinsod
and we do not like to generalise on figures as every case must be
taken individually. We can advise members and non members if we
consider the request excessive only when having full information.
Note that in a poor village a local Thai man may give a few thousand
Baht and continue working with the Brides parents. Alternatively
a recent Stars Wedding resulted in Sinsod of ten million baht.
Are you a Mail order Bride Company?
Definitely not. We introduce you to members who want to meet you.
You will take them out to get to know them and will meet their families.
In some cases the first few times out may be with a trusted friend
in company.
The final decision on marriage must come from the both of you.
This may happen within the first week of getting to know each other.
A brief warning. If you come here thinking that you will find
a submissive Eastern Bride you will be disappointed.
Thai Ladies have there own strengths and a strong sense of family.
They have learnt over many centuries how to keep family and marriage
together. They do not indulge the "in your face" attitude that has
come about in the West.
They will expect
loyalty and love from you and will give much more in return. How
do I get Married in Thailand & is it Legal?
There are Ceremonial Weddings which are of of more significance
to the basic beliefs of the Thai people which many families want.
This may cost what you wish from simple basic ceremonies up to lavish
affairs.
For a wedding to be recognised outside of Thailand there is a
Registered Wedding. With paperwork this may be completed in three
working days by someone familiar with the documentation.
We can arrange all this either as a package or separately.
Whereas it is possible to meet and marry in a few weeks this is
up to the couple. Many members have an engagement ceremony and keep
in touch by phone and mail to return and marry later on in the year.
For some countries
if this is arranged correctly visa arrangements may be started early
so that you may travel home with your wife. What
is an Acceptable Age Difference?
This is similar to "How Long is a Piece of String". It depends
very much on the man and lady involved.
We are often asked why we do not add this information to the ladies
information. It is because many of the ladies would prefer to see
the man and make that decision rather than stating categorically
that they only want to see men of a certain age group.
Eastern ladies are more practical than most of their counterparts
in the West. They tend to look beyond the initial impression a man
may give.
My advice is
to meet the members that you want to meet and take it from there.
Under our system there is no extra cost for meeting members in the
office and I will personally advise you when you come here. What
About Writing to Members?
Initial contact by letter is useful to get to know a lady. Many
Thai ladies have not developed writing skills so sometimes there
is a delay in replying.
Letters passed through this office will be forwarded to the member
and if for any reason she has become unavailable we will let you
know.
They like to come into the office and talk the letters through
with our translators so that they can reply. They also telephone
or send letters in Thai for us to translate and although this takes
time we do ensure that most letters are answered.
We have a data base driven web site developed by U5.
This means that we have instant control over the Web Site without
additional external costs. Lady members who are not available are
removed immediately.
We have noticed that initially our members respond better to letters,
especially if you enclose a letter, rather than to e-mail passed
by us to them as the letters seem more personal. When personal contact
has built up we then find that many members will then correspond
freely by E-mail.
As the site
is updated on our regular bimonthly updates all the members on the
site are current and if for any reason an error creeps in we will
update within days. Am
I Limited to Meeting Ladies of my Initial Profile?
No. When you come to our office you may arrange to meet any of
our lady members even if they do not fit your initial profile.
It is often the case that overseas members want to meet other
members after looking through our records.
With a large and increasing circle of members who join through
friends there will always be new members who have not been entered
on our web site.
We also have
some members who do not want to be on the web-site and you may see
their photographs and information only at our office. What
about Costs?
There are many different types of clubs and companies all over
the world running dating clubs.
We guarantee that we can cover our basic fees and more by ensuring
that you find the right lady and help you with he cultural discussions
which many people fall foul of when they "go it alone".
No matter the price you pay the main thing is that you want a
successful relationship at the end of it. We concentrate on personal
Introductions and in personal service and match making. We ensure
all letters are received by the ladies and advise the members, male
and female, on anything they need to know to maintain a long relationship.
We nurture the couples from first writing to first meeting and on
to marriage in most cases.
We do not like the club to be used as a wide ranging dating club
over the normal one year membership but for that sincere man we
will help you meet all the ladies that you want and help you through
to a long relationship.
We will also
advise you of any additional costs that may be incurred according
to your country.
Can I get a Visa for my Wife or Fiancee?
In general it has become much simpler to obtain a Marriage or Fiancee
Visa in Europe including the United Kingdom.
The fact that you meet someone through an Introduction club does
not affect obtaining a Visa. It does help you to have someone to
give you all the details before you come to Thailand so that all
documents are available. We willingly offer this as an additional
package or all in with some of our options.
Countries like
the USA and Australia have a strict Rota system and waiting list
but to date we know of no one having been refused a Visa.
Can I Trust your Discretion?
Yes, you can.
We have a very clear policy: No information about you is ever
revealed to anyone for whatever reason unless you give your written
consent.
Also technically
we have taken every precaution to secure our members information
by using secure forms and internally encrypted data.
Will
my Wife's Family Accept Me?
Part of our service is ensuring that you meet our members family.
This is done as early as possible after you have met a lady that
you want to marry.
We have never
heard of any problems when this occurs. As long as the lady in question
is happy and you look after her the family will always welcome you.
How Much Experience do you Have in Operating Introduction Clubs ? If you check out the "About Us" page you will see that the company has been in existence for many years. It has also been under the same Senior Management since 1994 and has long experience in all aspects of introducing Thai Ladies to their future overseas partner. We give a full service in arranging registered and ceremonial weddings.
